Our 1x2 [3/4" x 1-1/2"] walnut boards come ready to stain. Boards can be used for a variety of construction projects and home improvements. Smaller sized boards can be used as casing, shelf cleats or front edges, cabinet door stiles and rails, bases, wall and cabinet panels, pilasters and more. Larger sized boards can be used for a variety of uses such as stair stringers, door jambs, columns, stair posts, ceiling beams, shelves, and to create coffered ceilings.

Our Boards come in the following dimensions with the common size listed first, followed by the actual size in the parenthesis. 1x2 [1-1/2"], 1x3 [2-1/2"], 1x4 [3-1/2"], 1x6 [5-1/2"], 1x8 [7-1/4"], 1x10 [9-1/4"], 1x12 [11-1/4"]. All of our Boards are 3/4" thick with the exception of our red cedar, primed finger joint and primed MDF boards. Due to today's availability, some boards may be laminated for width especially wider boards such as 1x8, 1x10, and 1x12. We work in partnership with our mills to provide the best match in grain/color in these situations, but due to the nature of wood there will be some variations. Our facilities are able to create custom boards larger than the 1-1/2" thick and 11-1/4" wide industry standard. We are also able to laminate boards together to create extra-wide and thick boards. This allows us to accommodate a large variety of custom sizes for items such as countertops, tabletops, etc.
